After starting and running a successful commercial mechanical company, Joey and Mikki Hopcroft utilized their tools and talents to carve out a niche in the residential gas fireplace business.

Using their Class A General Contractor’s License and Master Tradesman’s Licenses, they were able to serve the city’s hearth shops with expert installation services while building a reputation as the most knowledgeable and respected contractor in the hearth industry.

In 2002, Mikki and Joey founded Bon Air Better Living Products, fulfilling their dream of establishing the best, most all-inclusive retail outlet specializing in gas fireplaces, outdoor kitchens and specialty gas products in the greater Richmond area.

Bon Air Better Living Products, now trading as Bon Air Hearth, Porch and Patio, boasts one of the finest showrooms on the East Coast with the most beautiful collection of outdoor furniture and accessories to be found locally.
